Career Services offers support to faculty regarding career development services and resources for Clarke University students. Several faculty departments and members call on Career Services to deliver presentations, workshops, and helpful information each semester. Simply contact us to discuss ways in which we can assist any of your classes in understanding themselves and the world of work. Our services include:

Various Career Resource Handouts: We cover a variety of topics including choosing a major, job search, interviewing, finding an internship, resume and cover letter writing, professional dress and etiquette, graduate/professional school search, budget for the first year on the job, and many more.

Major Sheets: These in-house publications contain career-related information specific to each major.

Internship for Credit: Students may choose to earn academic credit for internships. To learn more about this valuable opportunity for your students or if you have been asked to be a faculty sponsor, please be sure to talk with us. The Career Fair: Each year Career Services, in collaboration with Loras College, Northeast Iowa Community College, and the University of Dubuque, sponsors The Career Fair. This career fair hosts approximately 100 employers seeking students for full-time, part-time, internship, and summer positions.

Individual Student Appointments: As an adviser or professor, you may have students seeking career advice and direction from you. Career Services is here to serve as a referral resource for these sometimes complicated issues. Our professional staff is trained and educated in all aspects of career development. Please feel free to refer students to us.

Workshops: Please think about inviting a Career Services professional into your classroom to speak on any career-related topic.
