Family Weekend 2013

Family Weekend is a celebration for all members of the Clarke University community. We invite students, faculty and staff and their family members to visit the campus, cheer for the Crusaders and enjoy a variety of campus activities.

2013 Family Weekend dates are Friday, September 27 - Sunday, September 29.

The Cat's Pajamas - A Vocal Band
The Cat’s Pajamas, a vocal band, is a five man a cappella group that has been touring around the world since 2005, and has recently appeared on NBC’s The Sing-Off. The group is based in Branson, MO, where they perform 5 shows per week at the Andy Williams Moon River Theater.  Sponsored by CAB (Clarke Activities Board).

Take a tour through the newest building on Clarke’s campus – the Center for Science Inquiry, which opened its doors to Clarke students this August. With state of the art science classrooms, it is one building to check out!

 Dubuque Chorale Songfest
The Clarke University choirs will perform during the Dubuque Chorale SongFest at the Church of the Nativity, along with several other area choirs. Admission is free of charge, and open to the public. Visit for more information about SongFest.

Stargazing! (weather permitting)
Meet in the Mary Josita Hall lobby to carpool to just behind the AMC Theater. Stargaze with Clarke's own stargazing expert, Physics instructor, Jason Stecklein!
