Family Weekend 2014

Family Weekend is a celebration for all members of the Clarke University community. We invite students, faculty and staff and their family members to visit the campus, cheer for the Crusaders and enjoy a variety of campus activities.

2014 Family Weekend dates are Friday, September 26 - Sunday, September 28.

Voices is a month-long art exhibit and cultural event located in Dubuque's Historic Millwork District. Voices began as a way for the artist's voice to be heard, and quickly gathered support from the Dubuque community. For more information, visit VoicesGallery.com

Galena Cellars Fall Harvest & Art Festival Purple feet. Paint brushes. Horses. Music. Food. Geodes. Spa treatments. And wine. It's quite a combination and promises to be a fun fall adventure. A full schedule of family friendly activities - a grape stomp, live music by Jordan Danielson, horse-drawn wagon rides, geode cracking and amazing food. Area artists will be at the vineyard on both days. Dubuque Oktoberfest
The good Germans of Dubuque host Oktoberfest under the huge “Festspiele Zelt” (festival tent) at the Alliant Amphitheater at the Star Brewery. From 1 to 9 p.m. Oktoberfest features a Beer Tasting with 20 breweries, MassKrugStemmen (Beir Stein Holding Contest), HammerSchlagen, Plunger Toss and 
Tug of War. Entertainment includes the Guttenberg German Band, Americana Band, University of Dubuque Band, and University of Northern Iowa International Dance Theatre.

Mission IMPROVable
Clarke University Playmakers Improv Troupe will open for Mission IMPROVable. The agents of Mission IMPROVable bring audience members into the show as co-agents to participate in hilarious theater games or “missions” by yelling out suggestions for their act. The on-the-spot randomness provides for hysterical and truly unique comedy with every “mission.” The show will leave you with a smile on your face and great memories.
