Clarke Presents ‘Musical Menus on Broadway,’ March 28-29

Take a gourmet five-course meal and mix in musical performances by Clarke College’s most talented ensembles, students and faculty, and you get one of the most popular musical traditions at the College – “Musical Menus on Broadway.”

This year’s event will be held on Friday, March 28, and Saturday, March 29, in the Wahlert Atrium on the Clarke campus. Cost for the banquet and musical review is $40 per person with premier seating available both nights for $50 per person. Tickets can be reserved by calling (563)584-8642 weekdays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Seating at the event begins at 6 p.m., with service starting at 6:30 p.m. This year’s meal options include a Szechwan-crusted beef tenderloin with Thai peanut sauce or Mahi Mahi with balsamic cream sauce. A vegetarian option is also available.

Funds raised from Musical Menus help fund various projects of the Clarke music department, including costs for new equipment as well as travel for tours of the College’s ensembles. The evening includes solo and small ensemble performances as well as performances by the Clarke Collegiate Singers, the Clarke Cantabile Singers, and Clarke Instrumental Ensembles.
