GODSPELL

This delightful and up-lifting musical is based on the parables, mostly from the Gospel of Matthew. The Passion of Christ is treated briefly at the end of the play. The parables are interspersed with a variety of music set primarily to lyrics from traditional hymns. The play includes several songs that reached the Billboard charts after the play’s release in 1971, including “Day by Day.” Music by Stephen Schwartz and book by Michael Tieback.

TRIUMPH IMPROV GROUP FEATURING CELESTE PECHOUS '94

Triumph is one of Los Angeles' favorite improv ensembles starring Clarke alumnae Celeste Pechous (’94), Amanda Blake Davis and Kate Duffy. Inspired by one suggestion from the audience, these players will take you on a fully improvised one-act journey exploring characters and scenes created on the spot.

A play about gossip, rumors and, ultimately love. One of Shakespeare’s most popular comedies. Adapted by Danny Pancratz.
