Clarke Exhibit Features Alumna Paintings

The Clarke College Art Department will host an exhibit by Lindsey Larsen, a 2005 Clarke alumna, on the Clarke campus now through February 11.

The exhibit will feature Larsen’s recent paintings. Larsen received her bachelor of arts and bachelor of fine arts from Clarke College in 2005 and her masters of fine arts in May 2008 from the College of Northern Illinois in DeKalb, Ill. Solo exhibitions of her work have been featured at Highland Gallery in Freeport, Ill.; Gallery 214 in DeKalb, Ill.; and Miguel’s Coffee House in Dubuque, Iowa along with a previous shows in Clarke’s gallery.

Larsen has also had her work displayed at group and juried exhibitions at the Special Exhibitions Gallery in Chicago, Ill.; Olson Gallery in Dekalb, Ill.; Augustana College in Rock Island, Ill.; and Rockford Art Museum in Rockford, Ill.
