Undergraduate Admissions

Meet Emily.

My Hobbies:
I read a lot – usually fiction but I have pretty eclectic taste. I've played French horn since fifth grade and still enjoy being in a band. I like to bake and often bring treats in to the admissions office.  Most importantly though, I spend lots of time with my husband and sons.

Why Clarke:
An amazing sense of family pervades the campus. Everyone here is so genuine and helpful. Clarke really can be your home during your college career. Plus, cheering on Crusader athletics is fun!

What to expect at Clarke:
Clarke provides a friendly supportive environment that you will enjoy while you're here and appreciate after you graduate. We truly do prepare you for life after Clarke.

What is your territory?
I work with domestic transfer and TimeSaver degree completion students in addition to those looking to earn a second degree or teacher certification.

Favorite part of Dubuque:
The Fenelon Place elevator, which is the world's shortest, steepest scenic railway. This quick little car takes you up to one of Dubuque's highest bluffs and the view from the top is amazing!

What you might find at my desk:
Pictures of my family, a lamp made out of an old seltzer bottle, an old pair of my shorts that my stepdad turned into art, and a quote from Milton Hershey (as in Hershey candy bars), "Caramels are only a fad. Chocolate is a permanent thing."
