The Study Abroad program is another way to add richness and diversity to your professional preparation and life experience.
In the recent past, Clarke students have studied abroad in Wales, France and Japan. Imagine walking through the halls of the Uffizi Museum in Florence, studying traditional Japanese arts in Nagasaki or sitting on a hillside painting a landscape in Wales. The art department sends more students abroad than any other major at Clarke.
We also frequently sponsor short study trips. Eighteen students spent 10 engaging and art-filled days in Florence, Sienna and Rome on an Art Department study trip in December 2008. The next trip will include Paris, Brugges, Antwerp, and Amsterdam in May 2010.
