Meet Wes.

My Hobbies:
I love being outside with friends and family anytime of the year. I play golf any chance I get, toss bags whenever friends are around, run or ride my bike along Heritage Trail and always find time to read a book or two. If I'm not at home, I'm probably out with friends enjoying Dubuque!

What to expect at Clarke:

Expect a place that feels like home, from the professors knowing your name and interests to the people in the cafeteria who know your favorite food (trust me, our food is awesome)! Clarke is a school that offers students opportunities to see the world, create their own clubs, be the star of one of our plays or show off their spirit at a game cheering on their classmates and friends (don't be surprised to see professors and staff cheering the loudest)!

Why Clarke:

As a Clarke alum, I chose to attend Clarke because I felt the professors and staff were truly looking out for me. Clarke cared about me not only academically (by preparing me for life) but socially as well. Clarke was a place that challenged me and pushed me to succeed and become a better person. From professors saying hello in the hallways to students handing out finals week survival kits (cookies!), Clarke is a place I like to call home.

What is your territory:
My territory includes all of Iowa (excluding Dubuque County) and the 612 zip code area of Illinois.

Favorite part of Dubuque:
As a sports junky, I love participating in or watching a variety of sports. So you may find me on golf courses around Dubuque, watching a Dubuque Fighting Saints hockey game or trying to break 100 at Cherry Lanes Bowling. Dubuque also has quite a few coffee shops and I love a good latte (Love me some One Mean Bean)!

What you might find at my desk:
Pictures of family and friends along with a bobblehead or two (Dwight Schrute Bobblehead from The Office sitcom and Bernie the mascot for the Dubuque Fighting Saints)! I also have a few odd and end things from some of my favorite television shows and movies that add just a bit of flair to my desk as well. I've also got quite a few Clarke items to show off my spirit for all things Crusaders and a plant that I haven't killed (yet). Finally, one of my favorite items at my desk is my Red Swingline Stapler (the infamous stapler from the movie Office Space)!
