Volunteer

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the Clarke community and you can do so at any level. Check out the opportunities below to see how you can get involved.

Apply for the Alumni Association Board

Further the mission of the University by applying to become a member of the alumni association board. Board members stay in tune with campus happenings, plan opportunities for alumni engagement and offer feedback on alumni programming. Contact the alumni association board at (888)225-2753 or alumniassociation@clarke.edu for more information.

Become a Class Agent

Class agents help track down lost alumni, contact classmates, gather updates and news and rally their class in preparation for Homecoming reunions. Contact the Alumni Relations office by phone at (888)225-2753 or by email at alumnirelations@clarke.edu to learn how you can become an agent for your class.

Help out at Homecoming

From serving food in the alumni tent to assisting at a venue for Downtown Saturday Night, volunteers help make Homecoming weekend a success. To volunteer during Homecoming weekend or learn more about what opportunities are available, contact alumnirelations@clarke.edu.

Host an Alumni Event

Hosts can invite people into their home for a gathering or help plan an event at a restaurant or other location. Hosts also engage alumni by reaching out through phone calls, Facebook and other media. Contact the alumnirelations@clarke.edu for opportunities in your area.

Refer a Student

Who better to recommend Clarke to a prospective student, than an alumna or alumnus of the institution? Click here to refer a student. Please fill out as much information as possible.

Support Antioch

Show your support to current students making Antioch retreats.

  • Palanca is a spiritual activity or sacrifice which you perform for their spiritual good. Examples are taking time to pray for them, performing an act of charity or giving up something during the weekend. A letter to the person on the retreat is an important part of palanca. In your letter, you may tell them about your spiritual activity for them and also share your own support, love, encouragement and prayers. You may wish to share how and why your own faith has grown.
  • Attend closing Mass (or Bible study) and dinner in Sacred Heart Chapel.
For more information on invitations to write palanca or attending the Antioch closing activities, contact campus.ministry@clarke.edu.
