Clarke Drama Department Presents ‘Much Ado About Will,’ April 14-17

The Clarke University Drama Department will present “Much Ado About Will,” arranged by Robert Johanson, from Thursday, April 14, through Sunday, April 17, in Terence Donaghoe Hall on the Clarke campus. Performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. on April 14-16 and 2 p.m. on April 17. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and $5 for students.

During this ensemble show, the company presents a dazzling display of comedy and pathos with some of Shakespeare's most famous characters.

Cast members for the show include Clarke students: Rebecca Brosnan, of Algona, Iowa; Jack Cole, of Dubuque, Iowa; Kayla Damisch, of Victor, Iowa; Traci Johnson, of Dubuque, Iowa; Alison Ott, of Dubuque, Iowa; Maxwell McNett, of Evansville, Wis.; Gage Steenhagen, of Roland, Iowa; and Luke Van Meveren, of Monticello, Minn.  The show will also feature a guest performance by Colin Muenster, a 2008 Clarke graduate. The show is directed by Clarke Professor of Drama Carol Blitgen, BVM, Ph.D. and student Austin Rea, of Lodi, Wis., is stage manager and assistant to the director. Ellen Gabrielleschi, MFA, chair and associate professor of drama, is the technical director for the show and Robert Neumann, adjunct instructor of drama, is the costume designer.
