Being named valedictorian is the highest academic award Clarke University confers each year. The title of valedictorian is given to an individual or individuals who have achieved the highest level of academic performance in their class.
This year, two graduating seniors have met the requirements for Class Valedictorian. They are:
Ashley M. Derga
Carla S. Taft
Derga, of Farley, Iowa, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology and secondary education.
Taft, of Cuba City, Wisconsin graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
