Transitions: First-Year Seminar

Transitions: First-Year Seminar is a one-credit course designed to assist students build a successful undergraduate experience. The small-group structure facilitates active participation
and the development of relationships with members of the faculty and staff and other students. The emphasis of the course is on critical thinking skills and its applications in academic and life settings. Transitions: First-Year Seminar is required of all full-time, first-year students. It begins during CONNECT, that is, during the week prior to the university's official first day of classes.
