Master of Social Work Mission and Outcomes

Clarke University’s Master's in Social Work Program is an academically rigorous program dedicated to professional excellence.  We impart the values of service, social justice, and social responsibility to the mental health and medical needs of society with a commitment to diverse groups, interprofessional care, and service to rural populations.  


  1. Prepare academically competent dedicated professionals who value service, social justice and social responsibility.

  2. Build and maintain collaborative relationships with the community mental health and medical services in promoting interprofessional services to clients and developing resources to meet the needs of diverse groups.

  3. Advocate for the empowerment of oppressed and vulnerable groups with particular attention to those in rural areas.
