Jan. 20, 2014: Clarke University will host a Cheer and Dance Clinic for youngsters in kindergarten through grade six on Saturday, Feb. 1.
The clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center on the Clarke campus. Participants can visit http://www.clarkecrusaders.com/f/Camps.php to get a registration form or can register on the day of the event from 9:45 to 10 a.m. The cost is $25 and includes a Clarke Cheer and Dance t-shirt and pizza lunch.
Participants will be split into three levels based on grade. Each level will learn an age-appropriate cheer and dance technique, a cheer created by the Clarke University Cheer Team, and a dance created by the Clarke University Dance Team.
Participants will then perform at halftime of the Clarke women’s basketball game. The game begins at 1 p.m.
