2014 Clarke Golf Classic Scholarship Recipients and Sister Joanne Burrows
Proceeds from the 27th Annual Clarke University Golf Classic will support scholarships for incoming students from the tri-state region. This year, six students will receive a $1,000 renewable scholarship for up to four years for a total of $4,000.
Student applicants are required to submit a 3-5 minute video stating the impact they plan to make at Clarke. Students will discuss their goals as future Clarke Crusaders and how they plan to be involved in the campus community to make a true impact. Each student is also required to submit a resume using the format provided by Clarke and one senior picture.
Please upload the video and send the resume and senior picture to the Clarke University Admissions Office prior to
Tuesday, February 17. The resume must be received (not postmarked) by February 17 in order to be considered.
All application videos will be reviewed by the Clarke Classic Scholarship Committee and evaluated based on creativity and content.
Once the application videos are reviewed, selected students will be notified by Thursday, February 26 regarding the next steps in the application process. Those students will be interviewed by the Clarke Classic Committee on Tuesday, March 10.
Scholarship recipients are also required to attend the Clarke University Golf Classic dinner reception on Monday, June 1 at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club.
