'Chicken Soup for the Nurse's Soul'; Co-Author to Speak at Clarke

posted on April 19, 2006

Clarke College will host a presentation by nurse and best-selling author LeAnn Thieman, LPN, CSP, co-author of “Chicken Soup for the Nurse’s Soul,” on Monday, May 8, at 2 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke campus. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend. A book signing will follow the presentation.

A nurse for 30 years and co-author of bestseller “Chicken Soup for the Nurse’s Soul,” Thieman knows first hand the “war zones” of healthcare today. By inspiring people to care for themselves as they care for others, she works to boost morale and create positive people who then produce positive outcomes. Her presentations aim to recharge and recommit employees to do the best they possibly can.
