Clarke Goes 'Into the Streets,' April 22

posted on April 4, 2006

The Clarke College Campus Ministry Office will host “Into the Streets,” a Dubuque community volunteer day, on Saturday, April 22, from 9 a.m. - noon. Teams of Clarke students, faculty and staff will participate in the event.

“Into the Streets” is a semi-annual volunteer day, designed to introduce Clarke members to volunteer opportunities in the Dubuque community and to provide a learning experience that will challenge them to volunteer on a regular basis.

This year, Clarke College community members will work with 18 local organizations. Volunteers will meet at the Clarke Student Activity Center on Saturday morning and will be assigned a location to provide service.

Local community agencies interested in service work during “Into the Streets” should contact Mary Coan in the Clarke College Campus Ministry Office at (563) 588-6631.

Media requested more information should contact the Clarke College Public Relations Office at (563)588-6318.
