ACES and New Music Concert at Clarke Nov. 15

November 7, 2016: The Advanced Chamber Ensembles (ACES)/ New Music Concert featuring several Clarke University musical ensembles will be held Tuesday, November 15, at 7:30 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall on Clarke’s campus.  

Admission is free and the public is invited.

The ACES/New Music Concert includes performances by the Wind Ensemble, String Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble and CU Jazz. The CU Quartet will perform three pieces including “Canonisches Liedchen” by Robert Schumann. Emily Ott, violin, will perform the final movement of Vivaldi's “Spring” Concerto with the CU Strings. Also, CU Jazz performs three pieces including “Killing Me Softly.” New music performances include Nitshelle Duverseau’s “Waiting Only Once.”
