January 4, 2017: Clarke
University now has an articulation agreement in place with the University of
Wisconsin-Platteville that will help students interested in pursuing Clarke’s
Master of Social Work degree save both time and money.
UW-Platteville currently provides
social work courses for students to meet the requirements for the Social Work
Training Certificate issued by the state of Wisconsin. The MSW program at
Clarke University will now accept six of these social work classes.
“The Social Work Department at Clarke University is pleased to begin
the partnership with the Psychology Department at UW-Platteville,” said Dr.
Regina Boarman, chair of the Clarke Social Work Department. “This articulation
agreement provides students with an opportunity to complete their MSW with
career paths in mental health and medical social work.”
Dr. Elizabeth Gates, chair of the Psychology Department at
UW-Platteville, said the school is looking forward to the partnership with
