The Clarke College Art Department will present a guest artist exhibit by John Craig now through Monday, October 24, in the Quigley Gallery 1550 on the Clarke campus. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
Craig has created illustrations for magazines, records, books, posters and advertisements. His collage illustrations have been published in Newsweek, Time, Fortune, Sesame Street, Sports Illustrated, Esquire, and The Wall Street Journal. At Clarke, the semi-retired Craig will display a retrospective variety of pieces such as prizes for Crackerjack, art for pinball machines and more.
Currently, Craig is working in his “Second-Life Studio” where he is concentrating on more personal art.
Quigley Gallery 1550 is open Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday amd Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
