Clarke to Host Constitution Day Panel Discussion, Sept. 21

Clarke College will host a Constitution Day Panel Discussion and Presentation on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at 7 p.m. in Alumnae Lecture Hall on the Clarke campus. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.

Presentations will include: "Basic Principles of the Constitution and Citizenship Education," presented by Michael F. Anderson, Clarke associate professor of education; "Free Speech and Civil Liberties During Wartime," presented by Michael J. Anderson, Clarke associate professor of history; and "The Constitution, Citizenship and Young People," presented by Clarke student and newly elected school board member Adam Mennig. The presentations will be followed by audience feedback and discussion.
