The Clarke College Campus Ministry Office and the Dubuque Homeless Advisory Committee will co-sponsor a hunger supper and program entitled “Dubuque Homelessness, All-American Style.” The event will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 6:30 p.m. in the Atrium Conference Room on the Clarke campus.
A simple supper will be provided, followed by a presentation by Diane Nilan, former assistant director of Hesed House in Aurora, Ill. Nilan is the founder of “Hear US,” a grassroots effort to address the causes of homelessness, especially with children. Admission is free but reservations are requested. To make reservations, call (563)588-6364. Free-will donations will be accepted to further the work of the Dubuque Homeless Advisory Council.
