Dubuque, Iowa – The Clarke College Campus Ministry Office will host an information and education panel about the Sex Offender Residency Law on Monday, April 23, at 6:30 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke campus. This event is free and the public is invited to attend.
Panel participants will be Chris Corken, Dubuque assistant county attorney; Don Vrotsos, Dubuque County chief deputy; and Wendy Lyons, residential probation/parole supervisor at the Dubuque Residential Facility.
The panel will provide education and information, based on participants’ experience and professional expertise, about the Sex Offender Residency Law. The conversation will focus on the issues and challenges faced in administering and enforcing the law so that it protects the community and does not dehumanize the offender.
