From the Big Apple to the Key City

My time at Clarke enabled me to be successful in life, both personally and professionally. I have the best career as a nurse practitioner/certified nurse midwife at a women’s health care provider and I get to experience the miracle of birth almost daily. The psychology degree I earned at Clarke is invaluable to me in the work that I do.

My donations allow students to broaden their educational opportunities in nursing and all of the health science programs. I have had the pleasure to work with both students and instructors during their clinical rotations. I hope my donation will continue to enable Clarke to provide such quality education.

There are so many good memories and life lessons during my four years at Clarke. Among the earliest and most treasured is Sister Lucilda welcoming me and helping me settle into my first dorm room. To my surprise, one of my neighbors was a seeing-eye dog.  I also was very happy to meet another student with a New York accent as thick as mine.

My class of 1976 has been particularly successful and I’m proud to be a part of this group.
