Office Manager of Physical Therapy
What is your involvement in the Clarke PT program?
As the Office Manager of the Physical Therapy program, I have the opportunity to support the needs of both the PT faculty and students. Students seem to appreciate that they are always welcome at my desk. What has been your greatest Clarke experience?
As the Office Manager in Campus Ministry and Physical Therapy, I was selected to be the first "Rose O'Toole" staff award recipient in 2008. This was a great Clarke moment and experience for me.Why did you choose Clarke?
Working in the Campus Ministry department part time for a few years fit my family schedule. Clarke was a good place for me to return to work from taking time off to raise my children, plus the "BVM core values" spoke to our family. I transferred to the Physical Therapy Department full time and found that every day was filled with new and exciting opportunities. Why should students choose Clarke?
If you are a hard worker and like the idea of people caring about your success, Clarke will be a good fit for you. The faculty and support staff will care that you are here and encourage you to do your best in all facets of your academic and personal life. My husband and son are currently enrolled in classes full time at Clarke! What is your impact on students?
I feel that the support staff play an active role in student success. Willingness to help students and share a smile in their day is so important. I am passionate about Clarke University volunteer programs, such as: Wheels for the World, Kids Against Hunger, Into the Streets and the "Green" campus efforts. What are your extracurricular activities?
I am blessed with my husband, six children and two granddaughters. We enjoy camping, riding horses, running, soccer, bicycling and spending time with our grandchildren. My hobbies include gardening, blacksmithing and chip carving. What is your favorite quote?
