TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
As a healthcare professional I believe we are always learning. The healthcare field is always developing and new technologies are emerging. I endeavor to cultivate a natural curiosity within students. I hope they always are interested in discovering the next step and learning about new opportunities. Ask the question – together we will find the answer.

MORE ABOUT CARMEN | Greatest Clarke Experience: I am repeatedly overwhelmed and impressed with the caring attitude of our students. They are interested in learning about and caring for the people who need their help. Clarke's Impact on Carmen: Working at Clarke has been very rewarding. The students are amazing and the faculty are a wonderful, caring and compassionate group of health care educators. Why Students should choose Clarke: Clarke offers students a wonderful education. More importantly, Clarke will help students blend their life values with what they learn in their respective career choices. It is a unique university that offers depth of personal education. Carmen's Extracurricular Activities and Interests: I spend a great deal of time on athletics with my younger daughter and on theater arts with my older daughter. In between, I garden and I am very active with my church. What Carmen enjoys about Dubuque: I enjoy the genuine kindness of all the people I meet in Dubuque. And, I love to drive into town from the south in the fall - the drive is gorgeous! |
