I believe that nurses must be life-long learners. In health care fields the
science and technology is always changing and expanding, therefore, as
providers we must endeavor to keep up with the changing knowledge base. I see
my role as a teacher as one of cultivating a life-long curiosity for learning.
I endeavor to help students develop their critical thinking skills so that they
can become the problem-solvers of the future. I hope that students will develop
a curiosity for discovering the next steps and choose to pursue new learning
opportunities. Ask the question – together we will find the answer.
