Heather Huckleberry is an oboist and adjunct instructor of music at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. Ms. Huckleberry attended Iowa State University and the University of Minnesota, where she earned her B.M. and M.M. degrees in oboe performance. Her oboe studies were under the tutelage of Kathryn Greenbank and Elizabeth Starr-Masoudnia.

As an instructor in higher education, Heather has taught applied oboe studies at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, Loras College, and Gustavus Adolphus College. She has been an adjunct faculty member at Clarke University since 2001, where she has taught music appreciation and world music classes.

Ms. Huckleberry was Principal Oboe of the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra for nine seasons and was a featured soloist on several occasions. Former orchestral posts include Principal Oboe of the Duluth-Superior Symphony and the Grand Forks Symphony Orchestra. She furthered her oboe studies at the Aspen Music Festival, Pierre Monteux School, and at festivals in Quebec and Austria. She has also recorded a CD for Lifescapes Music featuring herself and members of the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra. Heather is currently the Co-founder and a member of The Dubuque Chamber Players, a professional chamber music group started in 2013.
