experience: Productions with the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, HERE Theater
of New York, The Barn Theater (Michigan). Joe has performed in and directed
productions locally at the Heartland Festival (Platteville, Wis.) and at the
Grand Opera House in Dubuque.
I believe in cultivating a classroom in which students embrace risk and feel
the freedom to create, fail, and create again!
Clarke’s impact on Joe:
The warm sense of family shared by the faculty, staff and students has helped
me to be the best that I can be for the students. This caring environment, one
that fosters relationships and the pursuit of knowledge, has helped enrich me
as a teacher and as a human being.
