“It’s Your Choice ­– Make It Healthy” Wellness Fair at Clarke on April 16

Clarke University will host the “It’s Your Choice – Make It Healthy” Wellness Fair on Thursday, April 6, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Student Activity Center on the Clarke campus. This is a free event sponsored by Clarke University Health Services and is open to the Dubuque and Clarke communities. The wellness fair promotes education and resources provided by various Clarke departments and Dubuque agencies. Attendees will be entered into a drawing for door prizes.

Director of Health Services Julie Burgmeier said, “Clarke Health Services is excited to host the upcoming wellness fair. The tri-state area of Dubuque, as well as Clarke University, provides excellent resources for striving to live a healthy-balanced life.”

The fair will include representatives from the following organizations: Dubuque Police Department, Unity Point, Dupaco Credit Union, Hy-Vee Dietetic Services, Dubuque County Right to Life, Clarity Clinic, Challenge to Change, Bio Life Plasma Center, Substance Abuse Service Center, Dubuque Dental Hygienists, Helping Services, Dubuque Community YMCA, Cross Fit Restoration/The Gym, Hillcrest Family Services, Riverview Center, Tri State Occupational Health, Harmony Factor, Balance Body Work, National Alliance for Mental Illness, Iowa State Extension Office, Mental Health America of Dubuque County, Clarke Athletic Training, Clarke Counseling Services, Clarke Campus Ministry and Clarke Wellness group.
