Clarke to Host 25th Annual Golf Classic

Clarke University will host its 25th Annual Golf Classic June 3, 2013 at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club. Each year, the Golf Classic offers golfers and guests 18-holes of golf, a midday meal and a gourmet dinner. The evening dinner program includes a live auction, silent auction and raffle. All funds raised will support scholarships for students from the tri-state area.The winners of the 2013 Golf Classic scholarships include Bernadette Brehm of Epworth, Iowa; Josh Connolly of Dubuque, Iowa; Austin DeMoss of Monona, Iowa; Kelsey Ernst of Bellevue, Iowa; Sarah Gansemer of Durango, Iowa; Katherine Herrig of Bellevue, Iowa; Preston Kopp of Cuba City, Wis.; Tiffany Leeser of Lancaster, Wis.; Paige Peters of Dubuque, Iowa; Alexandra Stecklein of Cascade, Iowa; Leah Winkers of Woodman, Wis.; and Mark Zalaznik of Epworth, Iowa.“By receiving the Golf Classic scholarship last year, I have been able to pursue a degree in psychology,” said Kyle Collins, a Clarke University student. “With the extra support now, I can save up to further my education after Clarke.”To register a foursome or for information on how to get involved go to www.clarke.edu/golfclassic or call (563)588-6501
