Clarke to Host Timesaver Open House

By Clarke News  |  June 17, 2013

Clarke University will host open house events for its Timesaver Adult Degree Programs on Tuesday, June 11, and Thursday, Aug. 1, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Wahlert Atrium on the Clarke campus.

At the open house events, attendees can chat one-on-one with Clarke faculty, discuss career opportunities, receive an advanced appraisal of transfer credit, learn about financial aid options and tour the Clarke campus.

Clarke’s Timesaver program has been educating adults for 27 years. Unique to the program is its hybrid delivery format, which provides a blend of classroom-based and online instruction. Classes meet one night per week and are supplemented with weekly online instruction. Classes are structured in eight-week sessions, allowing students to progress at a full- or part-time pace, dependent upon their comfort level. The format provides personal contact with faculty and classmates – a hallmark of a Clarke education – while maximizing individual flexibility.

Several areas of study are offered in the Timesaver format including undergraduate degrees in business administration, communication, computer information systems, psychology, religious studies, RN-to-BSN nursing, supervision and leadership, and information technology. Graduate degrees offered in the Timesaver format include Master of Organizational Leadership (MOL) and Master of Business Administration (MBA). The Timesaver program offers students the opportunity to earn credit for experiential learning.
