Four Hands Dancing at Clarke University Oct. 24

Dr. Jeremy Mims and Dr. Melissa Loehing bring their acclaimed synchronized musicianship at the keyboard to Clarke University in a presentation of Four Hands Dancing on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Mims, an assistant professor of Music at Clarke, and Loehing, an assistant professor of Music at Central Methodist University in Missouri, are a dynamic piano duo that performs four-hand literature. Their performance will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall on the Clarke campus. Admission is free.

a solo pianist, chamber musician and collaborative performer. She spends her summers employed as a staff pianist at the American Institute of Musical Studies (AIMS) in Graz, Austria. She has also been chosen from a national field of applicants for the Opera Theatre Music Festival of Lucca (Italy), the Baldwin-Wallace Art Song Festival and for the highly competitive Songfest Program in Malibu, Calif.
