Kwik Care to Partner with Clarke University CareerPLUS in March

For the month of March 2021, Kwik Stop, Dairy Queen, and Fazoli’s are partnering with Clarke University CareerPLUS to help raise scholarship funds for non-traditional and traditionally underserved adult learners as well as awareness for the opportunities provided by the CareerPLUS program at Clarke University.

The Kwik Care philosophy began in 2002 with the simple idea of providing joy to 10 local families who needed assistance during that Christmas season. Through this mission Kwik Care has developed into a program that provides funding for many organizations within the local Dubuque communities, donating almost $1.5 million dollars since 2008.

“The workforce programming offered by Clarke University CareerPLUS will be very beneficial for members of our community” Tessa Fahey, Director of Restaurant Operations, Rainbo Oil Company said. “We are happy to help educate the greater Dubuque area about this programming while raising funds for scholarships by advertising and placing information in our Kwik Care canisters at all Kwik Stop, Dairy Queen, and Fazoli’s locations throughout the month of March.”

Following an application process, 12 local, non-profit organizations are selected to be a Kwik Care partner for one month. During an organization’s designated month 100% of the money collected from Kwik Care canisters is donated to that organization. Kwik Care canisters are located at all Kwik Stop, Dairy Queen, and Fazoli’s cash registers.
