Renowned Vocalist to Perform Guest Recital at Clarke

Gross will be accompanied by Clarke Assistant Professor Music Jeremy Mims on the piano. Admission is free.

Gross has taught voice at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre and Dance (graduate student instructor), Spring Arbor University, and Eastern Mennonite University. She is currently an assistant professor of music at Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Pa. Gross also chairs the voice department at Belvoir Terrace, a performing arts camp for girls ages 8-16, located near Tanglewood in the Berkshire Mountains of western Massachusetts.

Gross has sung solo recitals on concert series in Michigan, Louisiana, Virginia, Washington, D.C, Massachusetts and Ohio and has been a favorite soloist with the Shenandoah Valley Bach Festival. Her international career includes performances in Ireland, Northern Ireland, the Czech Republic, Germany, Spain and Havana, Cuba, where she performed music of Jose Maria Vitier, accompanied by the composer.
