Judy's Teaching Philosophy:
I believe that students learn best by doing. When students actively participate in class, they know what they understand and what they still need help with.
Judy's Professional Involvement:
I am a member of the Mathematical Association of America (MAA), and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).
Clarke's Impact on Judy:
I'm amazed at how caring everyone is...when I had a baby, I was surprised by the number of e-mails and cards that we received. In turn, I now try to send notes when others have babies or lose family members. Clarke is not just about academics, it is about the people.
