Personal College Counseling

At Clarke, we get to know everyone by their first name and unique story, and that starts with your Admissions Counselor. This person will provide you with tools and resources as you navigate the college admissions process, and answer your questions along the way. They are one member in the larger community of support at Clarke that encompasses everyone from your classmates and professors to custodial and dining staff. No matter what path led you here, we want Clarke to feel like home.

Daija Bates

Daija Bates

Admissions Counselor

When I first came to school, I was very reserved. I am still a quiet person, but I’ve grown so much in my time here at Clarke as a student and I didn’t want that to end. I’m excited to share what I’ve learned and help the next generation of students as they come to Clarke. It’s important they see that it’s OK to feel a little uncomfortable because that means you are growing.
