Musical Menus Presents “Dynamic Duos” at Hotel Julien
On Friday, March 27, Clarke musicians will swoop onto the stage at the Hotel Julien for a dynamic dinner theatre experience celebrating legendary musical duos. The cabaret-style program will begin at 6 p.m. in the Grande Ballroom and includes a three-course meal with the purchase of a ticket.
Under the artistic direction of Rebecca Lansing, Adjunct Instructor of Voice, the evening offers everything from iconic Broadway duets to pop music collaborations. The program will highlight some of music’s most celebrated partnerships. Audiences will hear beloved stage duets from Broadway and operatic classics to pop collaborations such as Lennon & McCartney and Simon and Garfunkel.
The event will feature student and faculty performers, as well as alumni including Additionally, several alumni are scheduled to take part, including Mandy Diercks ’07, Callie (Mescher) FitzGerald ’07, Megan Gloss ’03, Thomas Taylor 16, Jake Tebbe ’07, and more.
To ensure an intimate and spectacular view for every guest, tables for eight will seat just six people, with no rear-facing seats.
