Senior Spotlight: Jaycee P.
By Jazz Daughtrey ’27, Marketing Intern
From the soccer field to Cupboard+Closet project, this Clarke Senior has made her mark in more ways than one. A Syracuse, Utah native is graduating this May with her Master of Social Work, after earning her bachelor’s in Social work and Psychology in 2025. As a former soccer player and current graduate assistant for Counseling Services, she helped expand the grant funded Cupboard+Closet into a key resource for students. In addition, she is expanding vital services for students by coordinating volunteers and implementing new ideas. She credits her time at Clarke for building her confidence and reinforcing the importance of kindness and connection.
After graduation, she plans to return to Utah to begin her career in social work, staying true to her passion for helping others and making people feel seen. She is grateful for the opportunity that Clarke gave her to get to know so many people from around the world while also getting to live with her best friends. She encourages incoming students to get involved and connect with others, and hopes to be remembered as someone who was kind, welcoming, and genuine.
