Heritage Tree Map

Assisted by Groundskeeper Ben MacDonald, student planted a tulip tree along with their intentions for their time at Clarke.

For over 100 years, Clarke University has marked historic campus moments with tree plantings. From honoring a class to remembering a lost classmate or professor, our heritage trees are a beloved part of the campus community.

Though some information on heritage trees has been lost, the searchable table below catalogs the history available to us. You may review in full or search for years and memories you hold dear.
