Clarke Transfer Program Earns National Recognition

By Clarke News  |  July 23, 2026

Clarke University is proud to announce it has been named one of Phi Theta Kappa’s Honor Roll Schools for transfer students. Clarke is one of only 275 colleges and universities nationwide to earn this recognition.

“The PTK Honor Roll recognizes excellence in developing and supporting dynamic, innovative pathways for community college transfer students,” said Daija Bates, Assistant Director of Transfer Admissions. “Transfer students offer unique perspectives that enhance our campus culture, and I’m extremely proud of the work we’ve done to make their transition to Clarke as seamless as possible.”

Clarke was designated one of the most transfer-friendly universities in the country due to partnerships like our transfer agreements with all of Iowa’s 15 community colleges. Students transferring to Clarke as part of the PTK program are also eligible for a scholarship of $22,500, as well as other scholarships and awards.
