Service Trips
Service Trips
Campus ministry service/mission trips are an exciting way for Clarke students to really experience and learn from different cultures and people. Trips can range in length from a few days to 10 days. Before, during and after each trip, participants reflect, pray, and learn about the lives of those least among us. The location of these experiences is chosen by immediate needs or student interest. Service trips often qualify as the Clarke Compass Global Awareness and Social Responsibility experience and hours. Campus Ministry offers two trips per year: Fall Break, during the 3-day weekend; and, Spring Break, 7-10 days during the spring break week. Sometimes a Winter Break trip, 7-10 days, is offered that leaves after fall finals;
Clarke University’s mission teams have traveled to Appalachia, Cedar Rapids, Cincinnati, Chicago, Delhi, Milwaukee, Mississippi, New Orleans, Nicaragua, Kenya, and Ecuador.
