Service & Volunteer
The Gift of Giving
Service learning combines learning goals and community service to enhance both student growth and the common good. Being active in service learning enhances your education, gives back to the community, builds networking connections, and helps with career development.
Into the Streets
Into the Streets is our largest service event of the year. This half-day event enables students to meet new people and connect with the larger Dubuque community. Volunteers do everything from cleaning, painting, and yard work to visiting with residents of retirement homes. The experience is a memorable one for participants and integral to the university mission.
