Clarke Hosts “Night in New Orleans” October 8

We’re bringing the thrills of Bourbon Street to Clarke Drive with a “Night in New Orleans” beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, October 8!
The “Night In” event is a long-standing tradition of the Edward J. and Cathy Gallagher Arts at Clarke Series and is a favorite of both the Clarke and greater Dubuque communities. This year promises to match that high standard with delicious food and exceptional performances.
The evening begins with a menu of Creole favorites, including shrimp and andouille etouffee, hushpuppies with remoulade, beignets and more. During dinner, attendees will enjoy selections from Clarke jazz performers. To cap off the evening, guests will move to Jansen Music Hall for a lively performance from NOLA Jazz Band.
Founded in Des Moines, Iowa, this seven-piece ensemble is comprised of master musicians who are passionate about preserving the legacy of the music they love, while bringing a fun, exciting energy to engage any audience. Featured in festivals and concerts nationwide, the NOLA Jazz Band is a unique and exuberant celebration of Blues & Jazz stylings that are sure to delight.
