Clarke Professional Performance Series Set for January 31
Clarke University and the Music Department are proud to host another session of its Professional Performance Series on Saturday, January 31, 2026. The performance is free to the public and will begin at 5 p.m. in Jansen Music Hall.
This event was originally scheduled for January 23, but was rescheduled due to the extreme cold.
The evening highlights the work of soprano and Instructor of Voice Rebecca Lansing accompanied on piano by Dr. Keisy Peyerl Xavier, Assistant Professor of Music. Together, they will take the audience on an exploration of a wide landscape of dramatic expression. Moving from the Classical compositions of Mozart operas through the arias and art songs of the Late Romantics, this program will highlight the expressive partnership between voice and piano through a blend of art song and operatic repertoire.
The concert will also be free to livestream and will be available on the Clarke University Music Department Facebook page.
