Clarke Receives Les Paul Foundation Grant
Clarke University is pleased to announce it was among a select group to receive a grant from the Les Paul Foundation.
The Les Paul Foundation seeks to partner with universities and community schools that encourage an increased interest in the recording arts.
The grant will allow for the purchase of equipment for live sound production and recording. As part of the award, Clarke will host a concert that focuses on the innovations of Les Paul in sound design and will include opportunities for local high school faculty and students to join in the performance.
“We’re thrilled at the opportunity to provide new equipment and resources to our performances and event programming,” said Rob Stull, Associate Professor of Music and Director of Instrumental Activities at Clarke University. “We are honored to contribute to the continuing legacy of Les Paul on the world of music.”
