Musical Menus Presents Hits of Sound and Screen

One of Clarke University’s most popular events, Musical Menus returns to Jansen Music Hall on April 12 and 13. The cabaret-style program will begin each evening at 6 p.m. and includes a three-course meal with the purchase of a ticket.  

Visiting Assistant Professor of Communications Chrissy Bartels will emcee the event and guide attendees on their musical journey. Performances include selections from a range of films and musical theater, from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Hamilton, The Greatest Showman, and more. Featured performances highlight current students as well as alumnae Megan Gloss, Jill Roe, Shirley Davis-Orwoll, Elle Kosciuk, and Brenna Burgart.   

“In addition to showcasing the exceptional talents of our music majors, we are proud to feature performances by non-music major students and special guests who have found a place to shine in Clarke University’s vibrant musical community,” said Keisy Peyerl Xavier, Assistant Professor of Music. “This inclusive approach underscores our belief that everyone, regardless of their background, has a place in our music department.”    

Along with the musical selections, attendees will enjoy an exceptional meal prepared by Clarke University Dining Services, including a salad, choice of entree, and a trio of desserts.
