Clarke University Recognized by U.S. News College Rankings

By Clarke News  |  September 19, 2018

Clarke University is proud to announce that it has been recognized as a top-20 college in the Midwest as well as a top-10 Best Value School by the U.S. News and World Report “Best Colleges 2019” rankings.

The 2019 rankings looked at more than 1,800 schools. U.S. News and World Report evaluates colleges and universities on hundreds of data points, using up to 16 measures of academic quality. The lists are released each fall as a way to assist students in the college search process.

“College is often one of the most expensive investments a person will ever make,” said Brian Kelly, editor and chief content officer of U.S. News. “We have driven transparency in higher education for more than 30 years so that students have access to robust data and information to make well-informed choices.”

“The rankings confirm that Clarke offers a top-notch education within and beyond the classroom, one that is affordable and well worth the investment,” said Clarke Director of Admissions Jolene Christensen.

Clarke President Joanne Burrows, SC, Ph.D., added, “We are extremely pleased to again be recognized as a U.S. News top tier college, and more importantly, to be recognized for our outstanding value. U.S. News and other rankings can be helpful to students and their families early in the college search process, but the choice of college ultimately comes down to fit and value. We work diligently to make a Clarke education affordable to our students while providing them with the best possible educational experience to fit their aspirations and needs.”
