Clarke Drama Production Selected for Festival
Clarke University Drama Department’s fall production of “Oleanna” was selected to participate in the Kennedy Center’s regional American College Theater Festival (ACTF). The festival is scheduled for Jan. 19-25, at the University of Nebraska – Johnny Carson School of Theater & Film in Lincoln, Neb. Awards will be announced at a later date.More than 100 productions from the six-state region (Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota) were entered for consideration. Clarke’s production was one of five selected to be performed at the Region V Festival.
“This marks the third year in a row that Clarke has taken an invited show. Needless to say, we are quite honored and very proud of the work that we are doing at Clarke,” said Joe Klinebriel, associate professor of drama.
