December 2025 Graduate Celebration

On December 9, Clarke University hosted a celebration in Jansen Music Hall for the 38 undergraduate and seven graduate candidates for December commencement. Acting President Yvonne Zimmerman addressed the graduates in attendance. 

“As you turn in your final final exams, I hope you can take a moment to reflect on all you have achieved during your time at Clarke,” Zimmerman said. “You have been challenged to think critically and communicate effectively. You have learned to problem-solve creatively in ways that uncover exciting opportunities in a world of challenges. You have broadened your knowledge and deepened your understanding in ways that will serve you well in your career, in your communities, and in life in general.”

“Along the way, you have formed important relationships that offered support and encouragement throughout your educational journey.,” Zimmerman added. “Please join me in taking a moment to thank those people—families, friends, faculty, staff, community partners, and those in your extended networks—who are part of, and contributed to, your success today. With this small ceremony of recognition, we mark your achievement.”

Following the ceremony, refreshments were served in the Wahlert Atrium.

December graduates are also welcome to participate in the spring 2026 Commencement on May 9, 2026.
