Clarke Faculty Exhibits on Capitol Hill

Seven photographs by Clarke University Chair and Professor of Communication, Dr. Abdul Sinno and one by his son, Rafic Sinno, will be part of a one-day photography exhibit on Capitol Hill on Thursday, March 21. This free exhibit will be part of a meeting of the Mississippi River Cities & Towns Initiative in Washington D.C.The photo exhibit, which includes images from many arts organizations along the river, will be the backdrop for a press briefing with member mayors. The exhibit will be arranged in the meandering shape of the river. The exhibit is sponsored by Ingram Barge Co. The organization of Mississippi River mayors is an effort to showcase the river’s importance and policy changes to protect it.Abdul Sinno’s photographs also include images of Balltown, Bellevue and Davenport. One of the Dubuque images is taken from the East Dubuque, Ill., side of the river. The photo by Rafic Sinno is of St. Paul at night.
